Being a city that is rich in history and which also boasts some of the most famous places in the world, London is a place that anyone should visit at least once.

There are so many important and interesting sights that we can visit and see here that it will take quite some time before we can say that we’ve seen them all.

However, there’s more that we can do in London besides sightseeing, even though we should certainly start with important landmarks like the Big Ben, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye.

During our visit we should certainly consider some of the shopping opportunities available and not just when it comes to expensive designer clothes. By going to shops located on the Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and the Carnaby Street, we are bound to find something that we like.[adsenseyu1]

However, whether we’ve come to the city in order to visit the famous sites, do some shopping or enjoy the nightlife we should make sure we won’t have any problems with transportation. While we can choose to use the public transportation system, if we would prefer a more private traveling experience we can rely on 365airporttransfers which provides taxis in London and taxis to Luton airport LTN at very good prices.

If we’re with our family, then we should consider a more educational visit. The Natural History Museum is worth visiting more than once, as the number of exhibits and the importance that they have can hardly be seen and grasped in one go. The most important exhibit that we will find here, and probably the most memorable, is the diplodocus skeleton which is cast in the entrance of the building.

We can also visit the Dinosaur Gallery where we will see the skeletons of T-rex, Triceratops as well as the bones of a Baryonyx and many other related exhibits. Another place that we should make sure to visit is the British Museum which has magnificent permanent exhibits such as the Rosetta Stone, the Elgin Marbles which have been on display in the museum for almost 200 years, and the mummies.

Those that enjoy being in the nature will definitely enjoy a walk in Regent’s Park. Located in north-west London, it was originally used as a hunting ground for Henry VIII, being open to the public only since 1845. Inside it we will find an Open Air Theatre, as well as bandstands, rose gardens, tennis courts and a pub. If we have brought our kids with us to the park, then we should be glad to know that there are several playgrounds as well, where they can have fun.

There are many things that we can do in London, and getting into the atmosphere means more than just visiting the important landmarks. The pub is the usual place that the people living here get together after a long day of work and it is where we’ll find out more about what it means to be in London.
